There are numerous credit counseling services around the country. The two following agencies are agencies with whom I have a working relationship and automatic billing arrangements for your convenience.

Please use the agency you use for your Briefing Certificate, which is mandatory prior to filing any bankruptcy case, for the second session called Financial Education, which you must complete after you have been assigned a bankruptcy case number. You may receive junk mail regarding various Debtor or Financial Education Certificates. Please use the agency you started with.
NOTE: Credit counseling briefing certificates are good for only 180 days, or 6 months. If you will be making installment payments for that long or longer, you will want to wait to do your credit counseling until you are closer to having your case filed.
